If you know anything about our history, you know we’ve got over 50 years of experience in the meat business. We work with suppliers large and small to ensure our customers are always supplied with quality Canadian beef, pork, poultry and seafood.
In 2013 we made a commitment to our first farm partners in the Rainy River: to provide them with a market for their beef and support the Rainy River District Regional Abattoir with our business.
Since then we’ve purchased hundreds of animals from the region and are very proud to offer our customers quality beef from Northwestern Ontario side-by-side with national meat products, making it easy for our customers to choose local meats when they want them.
As a Provincially certified meat processor, we’re able to offer our customers custom butchery and further-processing services. This means we custom-cut and package meats which have been slaughtered at Federally and Provincially inspected plants, offering our customers services like:
We offer dry-aging on prime cuts of local and national beef. During our dry-aging process we store the beef in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment which allows the natural enzymes in the meat to act upon it. The results? Exceptionally flavourful, tender beef.
